Simple Moments That Create the Most Meaningful Family Time

Pure Classic Aura in the kitchen

The most meaningful family moments are rarely planned. They don’t depend on perfect weather or big adventures. More often, they’re found on slow days at home, when time stretches a little longer, and everyone is simply together. When the weather keeps us indoors, it invites us to slow down. Family time in winter becomes about the simple things: building pillow forts, settling in for a movie marathon, or gathering in the kitchen to cook something from scratch. These moments may seem small, but they’re the ones that stay with us. Because in the end, it’s not about doing more, it’s about being present. Sometimes, all it takes is a shared meal, a little creativity, and the right atmosphere to turn an ordinary day into a memory worth keeping.

Here is our take on those rainy days: why not make pizza together?

Making pizza together isn’t about perfection. It’s about letting kids shape the dough into hearts, funny blobs, or even a radio if inspiration strikes. It’s about saying yes to a little extra mess, because you know the memory will last far longer than the clean‑up.

Simple Pizza Dough:

Ingredients:

  • 480 ml warm water (≈ 40 °C)
  • 25 g granulated sugar
  • 10 g active dry yeast
  • 30 ml olive oil
  • 630 g all‑purpose flour
  • 2 tsp fine sea salt

Steps:

  1. Preheat your oven to 250 °C using top and bottom heat.
  2. In a large bowl, combine warm water, yeast, and sugar. Stir gently.
  3. Let it sit for about 5 minutes, until frothy bubbles appear.
  4. Stir in the olive oil.
  5. Add the flour and the salt, mixing until a dough starts to form.
  6. Transfer to a floured surface and knead into a smooth dough, adding extra flour if needed.
  7. Cover with a damp tea towel and let it rise for 10 minutes up to 1 hour.
  8. Roll out the dough into any shape you like: classic round, a cute heart, or even a radio. Place it on parchment paper.
  9. Add sauce, cheese, and your favourite toppings.
  10. Bake for 11-14 minutes, or until the bottom of the crust is golden brown.
  11. Let it cool for 5-10 minutes, then slice, serve, and enjoy together.
